Thank God…

…for Koreans. And particularly for my dear friend Hyon.

Why? This stuff - Honey-Citron Tea. (OK, for lots more reasons, particularly in reference to Hyon, but at the moment, it’s tops on the list.)

First, it’s yummy as all get out. Second, when you feel like ass, it’s awesome on a sore throat. Plus, I’m pretty sure that it is what has kept me from catching the cold Kris has been fighting since before Christmas, since I’ve been drinking a mug of it every morning (WAY better than coffee). Of course, I got out of the habit for the last few days, haven’t been drinking it, and wouldn’t you know, I woke up this morning with a frigging sore throat. So, it’s back to the tea. Which is also why we have so much of it. The Korean grocery is up near Ikea, and we had to hit there today anyway, so we stopped.  And one of the smaller jars is actually for Amanda. I introduced her to it when she was visiting a while back, and she loves it too.

I spent all day Sunday (literally - noon until midnight) at rehearsal for the show, and it opens on Friday. I’m so, so excited to be back involved with a theatre. I really love the people from Colonial Players - they are awesome! I definitely plan to keep working with them, and hopefully will even start auditioning sometime soon.
