For My Nutella-Loving Friends
I, too, am a fan of the deliciousness that is that combination of chocolate and hazelnut. However, I have found a competitor for my affections.
Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolate Dreams. So, so yummy. I found it at my local grocery store, but you can also order it online. And they make other flavors – White Chocolate Wonderful, Cinnamon Raisin Swirl, The Heat is On – in addition to the standards Smooth Operator and Crunch Time. I forsee more of their stuff in my future.

I have a Trader Joe’s and a Shaws Supermarket within 5 minutes of my office, and I’m thinking of taking an early lunch to go get some of this.
Did I mention I have PMS?

Wowee wow. Must try this. So excited… can’t form complete sentences.

You evil evil woman. Now I have to stop at the grocery store on my way home.

I almost picked some of that up last week. I bought the Smooth Operator instead, which is the only kind of “natural” peanut butter I’ve found to be edible. I’ll definitely buy some of this on your recommendation!

I generally eat nutella with PB on toast. mmm. i tried the Archer Farms (Target) dark choc PB and it was gross. But if you say this is good….hmmmm
As for Val, we only buy Skippy Natural in my house. It’s good, no stir, cheap. Unless by “natural” she means the ones that are straight peanuts….because we tried the President’s Choice brand (Albertson’s private label) and it was gross. Read the label – no salt. ugh.

Oh dear…I have to get me some of this!
BTW, next time you are in NYC you should go to this restaurant and try “The Elvis” sandwich. YUMMMMMMY!

That looks so tempting I’m almost wishing I didn’t have a serious aversion to the combo of peanut butter and chocolate. I guess I will have to settle for regular old Nutella instead.

You devil!!!
What do you want to bet that I won’t be able to find it in these backwoods?
February 27th, 2008 at 4:03 pm
Oh. No. Gee thanks. I can eat a jar of Nutella in record time now I have other options???? Sheesh!
February 27th, 2008 at 4:45 pm

If/when you make it to New York, the PB&Co. restaurant/store is 2 blocks away from Purl Soho.
Just sayin’…

February 27th, 2008 at 10:06 pm
That was just so not fair. Where’s my toaster…
February 28th, 2008 at 7:41 am
Oh Yum! I’ll have to stop on my way home from taking my grand daughter to school!

You’re a very bad girl for showing me all that chocolate. Very bad.
I am breaking my chocolate habit.
I’ve substituted daily chocolate cake, for iced Mocha and now I’m off chocolate completely.
I love Nutella, but it does not love me.
My new love is Silk (soymilk) Coffee. 150 calories of sheer deliciousness, choco free and 7 grams of protein. Woo hoo!

Did you hear that Nutella was forced to remove an ad on British TV claiming that Nutella was a healthy choice for breakfast?
