Progress! An End in Sight!
That’s right, folks, it looks like the end of the Palette Cardi/Amazing Technicolor Dreamsweater is in sight! Last night, I FINISHED THE SLEEVES!!! Which means, all that is left to do is the front steek, the button bands, and the collar. Woohoo!

I tried it on last night, and it FITS! Yay! I am ridiculously psyched to finish this one.
On Friday, my dear friend Morninglight Mama (seriously – go check her blog. She’s hilarious, and she has three of the greatest kids ever. She’s not a knitter, but we try not to hold that against her. Maybe once Baby C makes it to school, she’ll have enough time to breathe, and I can teach her.) tagged me for the 6 Word Memoir Meme. The rules:

I’ve been thinking about it over the weekend, and I think I’ve come up with mine. My first thought was:
Easily distracted by shiny, pretty things.
But I decided I wasn’t quite sure about that one. It really only applies to me as a knitter, not me in general. So, I kept thinking, and I came up with this, which I think I like:
Artistic soul, practical mind. Forever conflicted.
I think it fits. It certainly applies to most of my life – the theatre-math double major in college, working in the offices of a couple of theatres, working a crap-ass job during the day and spending all my evenings at the community theatres. (Happily, one of those theatres is where I met Kris. 
)
So, the tagging… I know better than to even attempt to get Cristi to do this, so I won’t, and MM already got Amanda, so…
