Do You See This?
All I know is, it better be freaking GONE by Saturday.
I feel like I need an ark today.
Oh, and the red Jeep? Yeah – that’s Serenity. As in, she of the leaking windshield. Sitting out in the rain. Again. Eesh.
In theory, it's all about the fiber – knitting, crocheting, sewing, and spinning – but really, it's all about my life.

Yikes! Maybe you need to borrow the tarp to throw over Serenity. Just think positive thoughts, the rain is just getting out of the way so we can have lots of sunshine this weekend.

It’s been unusually cold & well, I guess the normal amount of wet here. But still lots and lots of rain. Hope you dry out soon.

at least it’s not snow. (I’ll try not to bring that with me to Maryland).
on the otherhand, the ark could come in handy should the interior of your house attempt to flood again…
I will be pleased with whatever non-rain you can summon for the weekend.

Yeah, definitely by Sunday this rain better be gone– it will be more than a little crazy to have H’s 2nd b-day party in our tiny house!!

Sorry, this is actually Dawn, but I’m using Scott’s computer, and I’m not supposed to change his info…

oh man! Fingers crossed!

I know what you mean. I bought a rain poncho today. And now I am wondering where I can pick up some comfortable waterproof boots – because you know even if the rain stops the ground is still going to be muddy and mucky.

I, for one, am completely mystified by what the metal contraption on the left is.
April 28th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
Yeah, I forgot to take my umbrella today. Smart move. So ready for this crap to go away!
April 28th, 2008 at 11:41 pm
Serenity, eh? Funny!
I, too, would like to know what the metal thingy is…
April 29th, 2008 at 1:57 am
I three want to know what that metal thingy is! It looks like it would be great to hang yarn from to dry after dyeing though! (Can you tell where my mind is?) And yes, please do some sort of anti rain dance over there for saturday. Much as I love wool, the thought of being surrounded by the smell of wet sheep… not feeling the love so much for that.
April 29th, 2008 at 8:32 am
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they are predicting a repeat of this past weekend for Sheep and Wool. I’m hoping they are wrong, because mucking around out there in the rain has only one positive note…the casual “let’s go see the lambs” crowd won’t show up!
April 29th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
Well, at least the primary buffer panel didn’t fall off…
April 29th, 2008 at 12:13 pm
What kind of crazy contraption is on your back deck? Oh and here in Seattle…it snowed on April 19th. Not cool.
