In theory, it's all about the fiber – knitting, crocheting, sewing, and spinning – but really, it's all about my life.

Wow. Y’all Are Curious.

(And I know someone is going to call me out for using “y’all”…)

Anyway, those “metal things” on my porch aren’t actually metal. They are PVC pipe, painted silver. What are they? A game! Specifically, a game that a friend of ours invented called, erm, Testicle Toss.

Basically, you’ve got two of these ladders set up, sort of like in horseshoes, and two teams of two people each. One person from each team throws from each end. You are throwing what looks kind of like a bolo, made of two golf balls. Each rung has a different point value. And when they land on a rung and wrap the right way, erm…

Yeah. That’s how it got the name. :)

It’s very much a beer-drinking game, as you might have guessed. And it is always in attendance at EdFest.

Your posts are more elaborate than the ones my friend has made (his are a single vertical post with 3 rungs, not two-tiered like those) and we’ve always refered to it as hillbilly golf. It’s definitely fun when beer is involved, and great for pulling out at campgrounds on a lazy summer afternoon :)

We ARE playing that this weekend, right? Weather permitting, of course.

And, it’s so cool that even a 7-year-old can play. When it’s called just “Toss,” of course. ;)

That is too freaking funny. Probably harder than horseshoes.

Has anyone been harmed by your testes? Have you ever busted your balls? I like those light blue balls. When you’re not playing do you store your balls in a sack?

And here I was just assuming it was for hanging yarn & fiber that you dyed, lol. Chucking nads sounds fun, though, lol.

I think I’ll give it a shot this year. :)

I have got to talk my hubby into making one of these! I don’t suppose your friend has detailed measurements of everything does he? Thanks!

I, too, need to talk hubby into making one of these for our back yard. We shall have the wossnames in varying shades of pink and blue. Of course.

Now.. what do we do for a kid-friendly name.. because just ‘Toss’ ain’t good enough.

THAT is hilarious!!!! When do I stop by for a beer and some testicle tossin’???

PS – you GOTTA use the word “ya’ll” when you are talking about a game called testicle toss.
