Annie Modesitt is FABulous
Also, slightly insane.
I’ve never met anyone so genuine and funny and sweet and brilliant. The class was completely awesome, and I’ve started work on my own Cocoon Twisted Float Shrug, which was the second half of the class. The first half was learning combination knitting, which I LOVE. There’s a good chance I’ll be using those techniques a lot in the future.
If you EVER have the chance, definitely take a class with her. You won’t regret it one bit.
Huge thanks to Annie and Marie (of StitchDC) for an awesome, awesome day.

Looks like you had fun! One of our LYS’s had her here recently, but it’s not a store that I frequent so I didn’t bother to go out there. Perhaps next time, I will!

What a great picture! I’m curious about combination knitting. I wonder if she ever comes out this way?
