(Dragon)Fly-By FO Post
Just a quick post before I head out to meet Carrie, Jaime and Heather for dinner and (finally) “Mamma Mia”. We’re having a girls’ night out while Kris is off playing AirSoft with Alex.
We caught a quick break in the rain today, just long enough to get a picture of the finished February Lady sweater!
I’m really happy with how it came out, and the buttons are SO perfect for it! I may block it a little more strenuously the next time, just to see how it looks. I’ve debated adding a ribbon or something through the eyelets at the bottom of the yoke, but I’m not sure that would hit me in the most flattering spot, so I probably won’t worry about it.
Also, that would be what my hair looks like now if I blow-dry it. Of course, I had to run a couple of errands, and I got rained on, so it’s all wavy again now. I’d have killed for this when I was younger. Back then, my hair was TOTALLY straight. Weird.

Pam, it look gorgeous on you (and the orange is great!). This sweater is definitely in my queue.

Beautiful, I love the way it fits through the arms and shoulders (is that a weird thing to notice?). IMO, a ribbon would be odd and distracting. I think it’s just right the way it is.

The sweater is beautiful. I just ordered yarn for it. But you really need to wear that orange a lot. It really makes you glow, you look amazing.

Okay, so I’m not usually a knitted sweater fan for myself, but I’m telling you that I am completely jealous of this beautiful piece!! It’s fantastic, and the details are gorgeous. Nice work, indeed.

Wow! That came out great and the color is wonderful. I can’t believe how fast you guys are getting that porch done too. We might have to hire you out to do one at our house.

That color is fab! IMHO I like the bottom edging the way it is, a ribbon might be a bit fussy… but your work is always gorgeous! I think Kathy from sNb just finished her purple one last week as well & I’m pretty inspired to try the pattern myself.
You hair is getting loooooong – wooo! Bring back the green!

Love the sweater on you and the color! I’m suddenly drawn to greens myself, can’t really say why. Odd coincidence, my hair’s suddenly wavy too. It was always stick straight and now it’s sometimes almost curly. Very, very strange. (So much better than straight though, don’t you think?)

I’ve been MIA on the internets so I missed when you first posted, but to add to everyone else’s adoration, the sweater looks wonderful. (I am liking the hair in the photo too.) Lookin’ good, woman.
