Grease is the Word!
And also one of the best shows ever. I love the movie, and getting to play Rizzo back in August 1996 was one of the great dream-come-true moments for me. So, now I’m going to force that moment on you.
Rizzo’s reprise of “Greased Lightning”, originally done by Rosie O’Donnell in the revival:
“Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee” – Rizzo at her bitchy best:
And finally, “There Are Worse Things I Could Do”, still one of my favorite songs:
And yes, I do still have my Pink Ladies jacket.
I promise, tomorrow will be the last of these. Hopefully, I’ll have some knitting done to show you soon enough.
By the way, thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes. It was an awesome evening with the most fantastic man on the planet.

Gosh I could not picture you being any other character but Rizzo!
Hope your birthday was great!

Did I ever tell you that I used to be one of the behind-the-scenes people (stage manager, light & sound geek)? Grease was my first production where I got to run the light board. I have great memories of that musical. Still one of my all-time favorites. Nothing like your first…I’ve enjoyed your trip down memory lane.

So, do you still *wear* the Pink Ladies jacket?
